We would like to invite you to the second conference, which takes place under the auspices of the Technology Platform for Communication Tools and Internet Things. IoT & AI FORUM 2018 will be held on 28 February 2018 at the South Moravian Innovation Center (JIC) in Brno. The subtitle of the conference, „Perspectives of the Fourth Industrial Revolution“ suggests its thematic focus, which, apart from the development and trends in the IoT field and the activities of the Technology Platform CTIT, also touches the popular topic of artificial inteligence (AI) and the ongoing fourth industrial revolution.

Jiří Fuchs
Jiří is the main initiator and chairman of the Technology Platform for Communication Tools and the Internet of Things. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague. He is experienced in the field of scientific research projects and also participates at the Council for Commercialization at the Academy of Sciences in České Budějovice.

Jan is Associate Director of Starteepo, which provides comprehensive arranging of the entire IPO process. Starteepo takes care of setting up IPO processes, communicates with lawyers, investment banks, CP merchants and the stock market. It also provides perhaps the most important part of IPO – communication. Not only towards the media, but also towards future investors.

Svatopluk Kapounek
Associate Professor at the Institute of Finance, researcher at the FBE Research Center at Mendel University in Brno and Vice-Dean for Science and Research. At the FBE Mendel University in Brno he teaches subjects Capital Markets, International Finance, International Investment Management. In his scientific work he deals with econometrics and static processing of time series and panel data using Bayesian approaches and time-varying models.

Pavel Hála
Pavel graduated in Theoretical physics and Astrophysics from Masaryk university in Brno, Czech republic. In his early scientific work he focused on multiwavelength study of active galactic nuclei. Since then he has spent a few years applying most advanced methods of artificial intelligence (Deep learning, ConvNets) to large scale spectral analysis of astrophysical objects. He’s currently trading options strategies on volatility products using his own quantitative trading systems.

Martin is a Channel Sales Manager of SimpleCell Networks a.s., which is the first public mobile operator for IoT network SIGFOX in the Czech Republic. Typical areas for the use of SIGFOX network applications in Europe are measurement of water, electricity, gas, parking sensors, industry 4.0, SmartCity, safety equipment, logistics, transport and storage monitoring, senior care and precipitation and flow measurements in floodplains.

Zdeněk is focused mainly on automated trading and Fintech. He used to work for banks and leading brokerage companies. Now he provides education in algorithmic trading. Courses based on his methods are currently available in 5 languages and have more than 20000 students from 95 countries. At the conference he will share with us also news, presented at the iFX exhibition in Honkong in January 2018.

Marek Havrda
Economist and sociologist. He worked in the European Commission, where he dealt with socio-economic analyzes and behavioral economics. He previously worked in several Think tanks and in the private sector. He studied at Charles University, Warwick Business School, Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University. He is currently working for Good AI. The focus of the company´s work is to develop general artificial intelligence.

Luboš is the chief lawyer of EU Legal Advisory, s.r.o., and also a member of the Executive Committee of the CTIT Technology Platform. He graduated from the Law Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno. He specialises in the protection of personal data, legislative standards and e-commerce within the Czech Republic.

Jana Valová
Jana is the coordinator of the Technology Platform CTIT project. She is responsible for promoting the technological platform, communication with foreign partners, management of project team and coordination of Horizon 2020 research projects processing. She is experienced in implementation and preparation of European union projects.
